I’m 5’5 1/2 I wait 192 I have wide legs the“curvy girl“ small from the top wide from the bottom I wear size jean 29 and 30 or a 12 to 14. It’s pretty good body wise I’m comfortable I put it all the way third hook and it kind of for me a little big XL so I was thinking probably going to get a large and maybe I’ll use it at the very first ring and work myself down but other words this one it’s comfortable I’m not too tight in it but the thing is that my legs are suffering with the silicon they added to the band so they won’t roll up it’s very good because it won’t roll up but it kind of burns . You won’t see it under your jeans that’s another advantage of it. so if you put me in a scale of 4 I will tell you 3 out of 4 just because the leg part at the end is uncomfortable for girls that have wide legs . And my skin is not sensitive at all but this one really got me .Before I get to the review, let me tell ya’ll, you are beautiful the way you are and there is nothing you need to change to make your body “better.” BUT…. If the choice is sitting on the sidelines and hiding yourself versus wearing something that makes you feel more confident so you can share yourself with the world, by all means, share your sunshine! Okay down to business.I was not expecting to love this as much as I do! First off, the compression is fantastic. Seriously, it sucked me in an inch or so and because it’s full length, didn’t have me spilling out on the top or bottom. The legs are super comfy, and I appreciate the lace on the bottom. I tested it under a Jersey knit jumpsuit and COULD NOT TELL that I was wearing shapewear (usually I get that annoying little divot on my thighs that announces to the world that I’m, in fact, not a Greek goddess). Anyway, I also love love love the top. It’s soft, not silicone, and stretchy. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they used here but I DIG IT. It covers my back fat roll with out squeezing, pinching, or rolling.If you’re like me and are a little nervous about the zipper near your hoo-ha, let me assure you, it’s worth it. Once this puppy is on and in place, you are gonna be so sucked in and snatched that you will not want to risk losing this look. The zipper hole is generous, but you will have to practice “going” when you are sitting on fabric. This may take some getting used to and honestly, I struggled to release my bladder at first because it feels so wrong. If you are worried about delicate areas getting caught, there is a soft fabric overlay so the zipper is protected, or rather, your lady bits are protected. Anyway, if you are wearing a thong with this and like to go au naturale with your grooming, you may need to be a little more careful zipping up, lest you give yourself an unplanned plucking.Alright, if your still with me great! There is one last consideration you should know about and that’s the straps. The bad news is, they are short. And I’m saying this as someone with an average length torso. You longer torso gals will be very unhappy using the straps. But, if you can use them, you will find that they push your chest together a little, adding a little va-voom without the padding. The good news is, these straps are removable if they don’t work with your body! I have tried it without them yet, but feel like the top won’t slip even if you don’t use them. I’m 5”4” so maybe it is because I’m on the shorter side… not sure. Overall size small fit great otherwise. I’m 149 lbs 5”4” and size small was good otherwise from the torso.- zipper in private area is super helpful- good material- worked good in my mid section- breathable (wore it dancing)- wish the straps were thinner by the arms it shows if dress is thin strapped- couldn’t wear it with a jumper (shorts)because the thigh part was to long and it showed at the bottomOverall for dresses or jean outfits it works greatFits as I expect a faja Columbiana to fit: tight and making it hard to eat a lot of food. Really like the feature that allows use to pee without having to remove the shapewear. Can wear with or without straps, and it doesn’t roll down as some shapewear tend to. Will buy again.I bought this for post postpartum after having my baby and at first I thought it was real tight but you just have to keep wearing it and it works great !I love the way it fits love the way it stretches on the body to shape u love the zipper in the crotch area I would recommend it
