First of all, let me begin by explaining why I needed this contraption. I was the maid of honor in my friends wedding. I try my dress on 3 days before and IT DOESN'T FIT! It had nothing to do with the copious amounts of carbs I had been shoveling in my trap or the vodka drinks at night. It mysteriously shrunk...obviously. Well here I am all in a tizzy, just flipping out. What is my big butt gonna do?! What am I going to tell my friend? "Sorry I ruined your day, Steph...but I love bread more than you." Anyhow, in a panic, I hop on Amazon. Surely they have some kind of torture device that will allow me to pour myself into this dress. That's when I stumbled across this bad boy. After reading the reviews, I decided this was the fat sucker for me! I get it 2 days later ( thanks Prime!) and open the pack like a mad woman. I pull it out and start to sweat. This isn't going to work! There is no way this material is going to subdue all this jelly! Well, I decided to try it on anyway. Well, I'll be darned. This thing is no joke. Who made this thing?! Rumplestiltskein? Harry Potter? There is clearly some kind of magic woven into this material. I like to think of myself as a "fat sucker connoisseur". I've tried them all. I wear one every day because I like food. I was not expecting this. The material is light and it's surprisingly comfortable. It has 3 rows of hooks, so that you can adjust it if you lose weight ( bwhahahaha!), it has wide straps so they don't slip and they don't dig into your shoulder. Let's talk about the "pee hole'. Anyone who has ever worn one of the body suits, knows what I mean. The size of the hole is normally pretty small. I've always wondered how people actually use it without whazzing all over themselves. Not this one. It's flippin' HUGE. Seriously, you'll have no problem when trying to do your business. Since I was wearing a dress I could barely breathe in, this was a great feature. The ONLY reason I gave this 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because of the bottom part. This thing is 2 pieces, yet still connected in the back. You put the shorts on first, then pull the top up and clasp it in the front. The shorts don't have the fat sucking power that the top does. The clasps stop right around your belly button. At least they do on me. I wish they went further because this thing would've been darn near perfect. If you have the " I had a C-Section flat tire", like I do, this might be a problem. Anyhow, now that I've told you my life story...this is a great product. It got me into my MOH dress. If I wore it with jeans or pants, I'd probably have to wear another fat sucking brief bc of the lack of lower tummy control it has. I would definitely recommend it to the "non flap havers".Nice and stretchy very comfortable I might say just love it.My new favorite shapeware! Let me begin by telling you I have more shapers than anyone on earth...I've been in search of the perfect shaper for a long time, and I thought I had found it in another product. Don't get me wrong, I still adore, use and purchase this other shaper, but then I found this! The Shymay Full Body Shaper Waist Cincher :) Right now I'm 5.7, 164, 36dd, waist 34", hips 43", and an hourglass figure. I wasn't sure how the sizing on this would go but I didn't want anything too tight as it would be for daily use. After multiple abdominal surgeries my stomach, hips, rear and thighs need smoothing out under clothing. I have only used a shaper with hook and eye closures once. Despite that, after reading all the Q's & A's and the reviews I ordered the Black and Nude in the 6-8 (2XL US) size. Jackpot! The thighs fit perfectly - not too tight, I could put on just fine, not loose - it gave a nice shape with no bumps or bulges. After sliding the back up over my rear, that fit like a dream! I slid the front abdomen portion over my body and put the straps over my shoulders. A quick look in the mirror and I loved how my butt looked - lifted and no lumps or bumps! My belly area was already smoothed over but now to the hook and eye closure. I quickly discovered it was easiest to lie on my bed and start from the bottom and work my way up. With minor effort it was on and I was loving the hugging feeling I had over my midsection! Best part of all, enough room "down there" do do my business and not soil any of my shaper.I looked and felt fabulous!! My new favorite shapers!!! I love the adjustable hook and eye closures in the front - as I lose weight they can be adjusted. For tight clothing where the hook and eye closure might show, I wear my usual shaper that has a flat front and some serious compression. For those of you who want to know, I have acrylic nails and I use the pads of my fingers to pull up one section of the shaper at a time. After I tore my first shaper I vowed to never do it again - and I haven't.I read how so many women are fighting tooth and nail to put on their shapers. I too did the same when I started wearing shapers after my first ab surgery. But with some guidance and experience it really can be an aerobic (LOL) but easy experience. How I do it is - first the right thigh, then the left thigh, adjust the crotch area, pull up over the butt - afterwards reaching my hand down to gently guide the material up and into place so my rear is lifted, then up over the abs, straps around the shoulders, then the hook and eye closure. I hope this helps someone - I wish I had known that when I tried my first few shapers!
